Slack’s Platform Apps suffered from low usage rates. We drove a 20% in daily usage through an expansion of Slack’s Block Kit framework. After user testing and deep product experimentation, App Home, was developed and launched for Slack’s Platform. App Home is the default place for a user to go to learn how to use a Slack app, and interact with it. Home can be used for settings, onboarding, dashboards, or custom content — specific to each user and each app. Read more on our launch announcement.
